There is plenty to enjoy in Waipahu, HI, especially during the summer. Whether you want to learn more about the history of the area or have fun while getting a great workout, there is something for you in the area. We recommend hopping in your Volkswagen Taos 1.5T SE and checking out one of the following summer activities in Waipahu.

3 Summer Activities You Can Drive to Near Waipahu, HI

1. Reach New Heights at iTrampoline Hawaii

If you want to take a break from the heat and get a great workout in, we strongly recommend checking out iTrampoline Hawaii at 94-157 Leoleo Street. The open court features wall-to-wall trampolines, and you can safely try all of the acrobatic stunts you’ve always been interested in. However, there’s a lot more than jumping and flipping you can do here.
The dodgeball courts are really fun, and you can nail awesome trick shots in one of the basketball lanes. There is also an AirDrop that will get your adrenaline pumping and make you look really cool. The laser tag arena has an excellent layout, and you don’t need to bring a whole party to play in it. Also, there are lots of arcade games that will keep you entertained if you need a break from jumping and flipping.

2. Enrich Your Education at Hawaii’s Plantation Village

Touring Hawaii’s Plantation Village at 94-695 Waipahu Street Extension is another great way to spend a beautiful summer day in Waipahu. You can step back in time and get a feel for what life was like in the mid-19th century.
This living history museum features a beautiful botanical garden, restored buildings, and replicas of plantation structures from days gone by. You are welcome to tour the museum from 9 to 2 Monday through Saturday. However, you must schedule an appointment for a guided tour, and tour guides are only available between 10 and noon.

3. Visit the Pearl Harbor National Memorial

We also recommend visiting the Pearl Harbor National Memorial at 1 Arizona Memorial Place. If you want to tour the USS Arizona, you should reserve a ticket 24 hours or eight weeks in advance. Tickets are free, but there is a $1 reservation fee.
We recommend arriving at the national memorial an hour before your scheduled program and using the restroom beforehand. There are no restrooms on the USS Arizona, and you will need to be put on standby if you miss your program. You can also tour the USS Oklahoma.
