1. Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum

It has become customary for tourists to pay their respects to the fallen service members at the Arizona Memorial. Before leaving Ford Island, don’t forget to visit the fascinating Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum on 319 Lexington Boulevard. It hosts an extensive collection of military aircraft from nearly every era, from the infamous Mitsubishi A6M Zero that was used in the Pearl Harbor attack to the fourth-generation F/A-18 Hornet multirole fighter.
Many exhibits focus on detailing the sneak attack by Imperial Japan, including the planning phases and how American forces responded during the chaos. Visitors can experience a state-of-the-art 360-degree flight simulator or take a tour of the Shealy Restoration Shop, which has been tasked with restoring aircraft dating back to World War II.

2. Manana Ridge Trail and Waimano Falls

Swimmers looking for an alternative to the beaches for a great swimming spot should check out the beautiful Waimano Falls, accessible from the equally scenic Manana Ridge Trail that begins at the eastern end of Komo Mai Drive’s 2500 block. The rugged, deeply forested trail stretches over 11 miles into the ‘Ewa Forest Reserve, but part of it branches off into the Waimano Falls Trail that leads to the waterfalls.
After a 1.2-mile hike through this path, you’ll be greeted with a stunning view of Waimano’s 30-foot-plus drop and the peaceful swimming hole it empties into. Bringing proper hiking attire along with your swimsuit is highly recommended since the trail can be demanding. After a long day of hiking and swimming, you can relax in the luxurious V-Tex seating of your Volkswagen Atlas.

3. Coral Crater Adventure Park

Unlike traditional amusement parks, Coral Crater on 91-1780 Midway Street delivers its thrills by hosting a variety of outdoor activities that take advantage of Oahu’s natural scenery. These include ziplining through jungles, driving ATVs along off-road trails, and making your way through obstacle courses that have been placed amidst the treetops. Even if you’re a first-timer, the park’s expert staff members provide excellent guidance.
Guests will also be able to take part in an authentic luau by sampling local dishes and viewing lively performances that illustrate Hawaii’s colorful folklore.
