Sporty and fun to drive, the 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan is the only compact SUV in the market with a European touch. This spacious and well-equipped vehicle boasts crisp handling and sophisticated tailored styling, plus a powerful engine choice and excellent fuel efficiency. For this model, Volkswagen decided to keep a similar exterior to that of the outgoing model, however, they did a few twists and added new features. For example, the SE R-Line Black trim got a new wheel design and the USB-C ports in all trim levels have been upgraded too.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan has four trim levels, starting with the base model, the S trim, followed by the SE, SE R-Line Black, and SEL R-Line trims — with the latter being the highest and most expensive configuration. If you choose the SE trim, for example, you will get 18-inch wheels, a new semi-autonomous driving mode, a power-operated rear liftgate, and the option to add an impressive panoramic sunroof so that you can catch some rays while driving.
Engine (Power)
All 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan models come with a standard turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an output of 184 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is also standard but the 4Motion all-wheel-drive system by Volkswagen is available too. Performance
